Very cool! Another new one (well, to us, anyway). Good cast, too. Interesting that Sven  is now getting films he hasn't shown in decades, this will be, what, the second this year? Undoubtedly some folks will still complain about it being a  rerun Rolling Eyes - the same folks who have seen Star Trek so many times they have the dialog memorized. Actually, I would love to see some of the actual Son of Svengoolie shows, or parts of them anyway, if Rich could ever get them out of the grasp of his old station. Must be galling to have a large hunk of your life's work controlled by someone else... Crying or Very sad

agreed! I like all the films with Cushing... not big on the godzilla movie except I get a good laugh out of King Kong's rubber mask being smoothed and bouncing back into shape when Godzilla stomps on his face! Very Happy

I also agree. Evil of Frankenstein is one of the best of the Hammer offerings. Of course, almost anything with Cushing is a win; we just watched one (At  the Earth's Core) that was one of his less successful roles, certainly no Van Helsing. Godzilla is frequently good for a laugh, though.

Really lookinf forward to seeing King Kong versus Godzilla get the Sven treatment. It is one of my favorite G films, right after the 1954 original.
